I can honestly admit how hard and rare it is to find an authentic bite of a Mexican taco. It's no joke! You can easily be fooled these days by the many adaptations and variations there has been to this meal. Don't get me wrong, these variations can be delicious but unintentionally deliver the wrong flavors to meet a true Mexican Taco.
So how do you know when a taco is the real deal? You know you get a real taco when you're biting into a fresh made corn tortilla. You know---- the one's that puff up on a comal (griddle) and have a comforting texture when savoring it. Not to mention the fresh seasoned meat that is topped with the salsa. The salsa is also a special one. Salsa isn't salsa unless it has some sort of pepper! Or at least this is my opinion.
What are your thoughts? Share your "definition" of a real taco :)
